The Bryn Mawr Community Church Family is honored that you chose to worship with us today.  Bryn Mawr Community Church began in the early 1900s as a response to community mothers who desired Christian Education for their children.  We continue to recognize, emphasize and teach the importance of knowing God’s Word as expressed in Holy Scripture and we believe it to be the timeless and relevant standard for Christian living.  God’s vision is for Bryn Mawr to be on the cutting edge of preparing individuals to fully embrace the salvation of Jesus Christ as well as the gifts and fruit of the Holy Spirit. Our responsibility as a unique part of Christ’s Church consists of mentoring disciples for Christ through ministries of hospitality, healing and hope. Our goal is to become a  loving and transparent Church - as unconditional love and honest self-disclosure are essential elements for effectively mentoring disciples for Christ.  Bryn Mawr offers meaningful opportunities for individuals to both explore and grow in their faith journey. We are large enough to provide spiritual support in many areas of ministry, yet small and intimate enough to allow individuals the opportunity to pioneer new arenas of ministry. We endeavor to become a church where a stranger finds a friend and a sinner finds Christ.
